We are moving to a swanky new Team Speak 3 server for our voice communication needs!

1.   Follow this link to navigate to the teamspeak website

2.   Click Downloads
3.   Choose the correct client for your version of Windows (32Bit or 64 Bit)
4.   Confirm your acceptance of the user license agreement and click I Agree to download
5.   Click Save File in the pop-up window and chose where you wish to download the file to

6.   Double click the TeamSpeak3 icon to run the installation application

9.   Choose whether or not to install for all users registered to the PC or just for your logon. Click Next > to continue

10.   Choose the installation directory; either accept the default or specify a preferred location. Click Next > to continue

11.   Set whether or not to enable each windows user to configure their own specific TeamSpeak 3 settings or to have a fixed single setting for all users across the PC. Click Next > to continue

12.   Set the name of the start menu short cut and click Install to commence the installation process

Configure...
14.   Go to Start Menu > All Programs > TeamSpeak 3 Client folder> click TeamSpeak3 Client

15.   When TeamSpeak 3 starts up you will be greeted by the setup tutorial

16.   Click Next > to commence the setup configuration process
17.   Enter you nick name and click Next >

18.   Choose your communication method, Voice Activation or Push to Talk. In this setup I will be using Voice Activation

19.   Follow the on screen tutorial. Test you voice activation level and adjust the communication trigger slider to set this to the desired level. Click Next > to continue once this stage is complete

20.   If you wish, configure the Microphone Mute button and the Speaker Mute button.

23.   Enter the Address (ts3.killercreation.co.uk) and Port (9992) of [The.O.C] TeamSpeak 3 server (illustrated below).

No worries, its what I do at work (occasionally). Looks better with Illustrations now I think.

Let me know if anything is unclear and I shall ammend it to suit.

I installed TS3 yesterday, followed your instructions step by step.

Got this message the first time I started up TS after ending of installation (see pic)

I choose to ignore the message and joined the gang in the channel.

I could hear them, but they could not hear me.
Has the error message anything to do with my "mute".
Is going over it again now to see what can be wrong.

yeah sry about that Eagle, you have to be added to the OC group, now done as you know, forgot to make it so all members could add other members to the group (and regs to the regs group).

You should all now be able to do this by click right clicking on their name and selecting the correct server group (well in 2 mins you will :) )
see the attached images :)

Regs can add ppl to the regs group but not members, and regs and members can add "other users" that are not regs to the "friendlies" group
